CPN-Maoist Centre holding first important meeting today

The first meeting of the general convention organising committee of the CPN-Maoist Centre is taking place at 1 pm on Sunday. Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', the centre's President, is its senior-most leader.The Unified CPN-Maoist, which was formed by unifying several Maoist parties after the CPN-Maoist joined mainstream politics, was dissolved today to form CPN Maoist Centre, comprising 10 parties, with Pushpa Kamal Dahal as its chairperson.
